What has happened in Europe so far.

April 25, 1915 through January 9, 1916 250,000 were wounded and 46,000 were left dead in the battle of Gallipoli. When the Germans attacked the French on February 21, 1916 they used heavy guns to destroy the French’s trenches to force the French to quickly come up with a new plan. There was 300,000 left dead an over 750,000 wounded.
The next battle to occur was Somme in the later stages of 1916. British orders massive bombing on German troops. German troops were trying to protect themselves but the British ended up pushing them back to the western front. The Germans retaliated by killing 20,000 British troops and moving them back to the western front line. All the British won was less than 10 miles of land and loss over 20,000 soldiers. The third battle was the Ypres in 1917. The British used large mines among many German miles. While this is happening the weather turns this into a mud fest. The “final” battle was the Western Front in 1918. Germans won. And on the 11ths hour of the 11th day of the 11th month the war was truly over.
